What We Do

Three Pillars, One Mission

Full-service community development advisory across Orthodox community development, rural housing, and startup incubation.

Pillar One

Orthodox Community Development

We help Orthodox Jewish communities grow — providing the development expertise and cultural fluency that generic developers and planners cannot.

From identifying suitable land to liaising with councils on eruv planning, we act as a single accountable partner, working closely with rabbinical and community leaders so every step respects halachic and communal requirements.

  • Land procurement & site feasibility
  • Eruv & kosher infrastructure planning
  • Communal housing, schools & shuls
  • Council & planning-authority liaison

Pillar Two

Rural Housing Development

Rural towns and councils face housing shortages that large developers won't touch — leaving grant funding unclaimed and government targets unmet.

Zahav Capital unlocks these stalled projects through developer partnerships, grant co-applications, and hands-on project coordination that links new housing to local employment.

  • Affordable housing planning
  • Developer partnerships & referrals
  • Grant co-applications with councils
  • Local employment linkage

Pillar Three

Startup Incubation

Community-based founders are too often locked out of mainstream finance, mentorship, and investor networks. Our incubator changes that.

Through structured 12-week cohorts, we provide mentorship, business-skills training, capital-access pathways, and introductions to the networks founders need to survive their first year and beyond.

  • 12-week structured cohort program
  • Mentorship & business-skills training
  • Capital-access pathways
  • Investor & network introductions

How We Engage

Ways to Work With Us

We meet communities where they are — from a single advisory engagement to an ongoing partnership.

Capacity-Building Consulting

A focused advisory engagement to assess feasibility, shape a plan, or solve a specific development challenge. The simplest way to start working together.

Grant Writing & Sourcing

We identify relevant grant opportunities and prepare strong, fundable applications — on a retainer or success-fee basis.

Community Retainers

Ongoing, on-call development partnership for communities with an active project — consistent expertise without an in-house team.

Developer Advisory & Referral

We connect rural housing projects with the right developer partners and advise through the deal — structured per project.

Engagement scope and fees are tailored to each community's stage and needs. The best starting point is a conversation.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked

Zahav Capital is a new community development organization currently operating as a project under the fiscal sponsorship of Angels Wings Israel Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. This gives us a trusted charitable and legal foundation while we work toward our own independent designation.
Not at all. Most clients engage one pillar — an Orthodox community on a housing project, a council on rural housing, or a founder joining a cohort. The integrated model simply means we can support you across more areas as your needs grow.
It depends on the work. Capacity-building consulting is a fixed-scope engagement, community advisory is offered on a monthly retainer, grant writing can be retainer or success-fee, and developer advisory is structured per deal. We'll recommend the right fit after an initial conversation.
Yes. Grant sourcing and writing is a core service. We identify funders whose priorities align with your project and prepare complete, evidence-based applications — and we can co-apply alongside councils and community organizations.
Reach out through our contact form with a few details about your community, council, or startup. A member of our team will follow up within two business days to start a no-obligation conversation.
